Biology
physiognomy
Vibrated is a Pokémon dragonfly-shaped, with a thin, yellowish body topped by two pairs of green wings by blacks contours rhomboid connected to the body on one side white; It can be seen on the tail two appendices form and color similar to the wings. Vibrated has green eyes, four thin black and two yellow nasal horns legs.
Differences between the sexes
None.
Special abilities
Vibrated is able to rise from the ground, but not fly properly, however this allows him to avoid Ground-type attacks like Earthquake or Magnitude, may issue and manipulate the ultrasonic waves from its wings. This ability seems to be so advanced as to cause headaches in humans. Being a Dragon-type Pokémon, Vibrava is also able to learn the move Draco Meteor.
Behavior
After the evolution, Vibrava acquires the power to rise from the ground, although the poorly developed wings prevent him from continuing to perform flights; So although these are not his primary means of locomotion, they are its best weapon for hunting: emitting the ultrasonic waves through rapid vibration of them, Vibrava is able to stun its prey up to fainting. For men, however, the maximum risk is to contract due to the ultrasonic waves a severe headache.
Habitat
The Vibrava live in sandy deserts, often found near the rocks or in the vicinity of a few oases in the desert.
Diet
Main article: Pokémon food
It seems that both carnivore because it uses the vibrations of the wings to stun Pokémon and thus drive them.
In the anime
It appears for the first time in the episode The underground labyrinth, in which a whole group of Trapinch evolves in an underground cave under the incredulous eyes of the protagonists.

Curiosity
He vibrated and its evolution Flygon share certain characteristics with species other than their own.
Together with the evolutionary family of Gligar, they are the only part of the group Beetle eggs without being of the same type.
They are also the only Dragon-type Pokémon not to be part of the Dragon egg group.
They are the only non-legendary Pokémon, and not belonging to either the type or Fire to the steering wheel capable of learning Heat Wave.
Vibrated has the Attack stat of lower base compared to the pre-evolution Trapinch.
Vibrated is the only Pokémon not based on a chrysalis to have the Attack lower than the pre-evolution.
All the basic statistics Vibrava rise to exactly 30 points each when it evolves into Flygon.
Vibrated and Crobat are the only Pokémon that have the shape of Pokémon with two pairs of wings that are not Bug-type.
Origin
Vibrated is based on the adult form of the ant lion. Often the dragonfly and the adult form of ant lion are confused one for the other; Vibrated could be inspired by both. Also some dragonflies are called "sand dragon", that could cause the particular combination of types of this species.
Origin of name
Vibrated derives from the English word "vibrate" (vibrate) and "larva". It may also result from Vibra, a particular type of European dragon.
