TrapinchTrapinch
Curiosity
Trapinch has the statistical base Attack superior to that of its evolution vibrated, and equal to that of its further evolution: Flygon.
The evolutionary family of Trapinch, together with that of Gligar, is the only part of the group Beetle eggs, without actually being Bug-type.
Coincidentally are both Ground-type.
Of all the Pokémon did not evolve, Trapinch is what you can learn by leveling the highest number of foreclosed move instead to its later stages; This, however, not taking into account the Pokémon that evolve because of evolutionary stones, as Skitty and Growlithe.
Trapinch is capable of learning gusts as an egg move, although it is not equipped with wings. Probably it depends on the fact that its evolutions are, vice versa, both winged.
Sometimes it may be a bug that features Trapinch: in Pokémon Emerald, challenging the Battle Tower in defiance Multipla (single player), meet a Trapinch opponent who will attack first using toxin on its ally, then fight normally.
Trapinch is the only Pokémon of his lineage to have an Ability Hidden.
Origin
It is based on the larva of ant lion, which lives for most of the time in the mass of sand, before reaching the adult stage in which develops the wings.
Origin of name
Trapinch comes from the English "trap", "trap" and "pinch", "caliper" referring to his mouth.
